The SEACRAFT Offshore Carolina Fishing Team
The SEACRAFT fishing team Offshore Carolina was formed in 2003 and has been leaving their mark on the offshore tournament trails ever since. USCG-certified Captain Mike Bailey leads the team, which also includes Carroll Lineberger, Jr. and new member Greg Helms. This year, Mike was also able to make saltwater fishing a family affair by enlisting wife Dee and their 6-year-old daughter Madelyn to cover the ladies and junior angler divisions.
In 2008, Offshore Carolina will be fishing from a brand new SEACRAFT SC23 Tournament Edition boat. The team slowed down in 2007, but will be back in full force this year to fish as many as 15 tournaments, including Divisionals. Offshore Carolina mainly focuses on the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) Trail and Mercury® Tournament Trail.
The SKA tournament trail was formed in 1991, and now includes over 50 events in numerous locations, including the Mercury® Tournament Trail and Yamaha® Professional Kingfish Tour. It is sport fishing’s largest saltwater tournament trail. The SC23 TE is built specifically for saltwater anglers and families fishing the SKA trail.
Offshore Carolina has won numerous awards since its inception. They have also made appearances on the TV show “Fishing the Trail.”
