New SeaCraft® SC20 Master Angler: Refined for Increased Fishability
February 14, 2008 – As fishing techniques and gear become more sophisticated, anglers expect the same out of their boats. Listening to the voice of the customer, SeaCraft has responded by integrating a newly designed tournament console into the SeaCraft 20 to better serve the shallow water enthusiast. Now, the refined SeaCraft SC20 Master Angler is even more agile with increased versatility.
The SC 20 measures 19 feet 6 inches in length with a beam of 7 feet 6 inches, and has a fuel capacity of 70 gallons. This newly refined model incorporates the celebrated SeaCraft variable-deadrise hull with longitudinal steps and a fully integrated, fiberglass stringer grid with encapsulated floatation foam. The single-level, bow to stern deck has a non-skid surface and is the perfect platform for anglers using light tackle for sight fishing and fly fishing.
Along with the transom baitwell, the Master Angler console features an additional forward baitwell with see-through lid and circulation system, which works well for the live bait angler. The console’s aft section houses an insulated storage compartment that can serve as a fishbox, cooler or tackle/gear storage. The box drains overboard so there is no need for a macerator pump. The top of the baitwell and storage area can always be utilized as extra seating with optional cushion. At the helm, the captain will find navigation easy with a custom stainless steel steering wheel, flush mounted gauges, courtesy LED lights and ample surface area for mounting electronics.
The SC20 has an abundance of storage for tackle and rods. Located in the Master Angler console, tackle storage can be found behind the forward backrest. Horizontal rod racks will hold up to 10-feet fly rods; four gunnel-mount rod holders are ready for action. The leaning post, with removable backrest, has a cooler and rocket launcher. In addition, the SC20 has in-deck bow anchor storage. The single bow T-Top features four-rod rocket launcher and spreader lights.
The SC20 maintains the brand’s elegant style with clean, uncluttered lines, and offers several choices of color for the two-tone hull: White with Seafoam, White with Fighting Lady Yellow, White with Ice Blue and White with Mystic Blue. Maximum engine weight is 500-pounds and maximum horsepower is 175.
